This house was conceived as an assembly of room modules.  Each room has 2 entire walls allocated for furnishings and 2 entire walls for windows and doors.  

Once stacked, the relative orientation of each module determines the exterior elevation of the whole.

This approach allowed us to consolidate a typical amount of glazing into fewer but much larger than average picture windows.
